California Youth EMS Corps

The Cal Youth EMS Corps is a program run in partnership with local fire and EMS agencies as well as local school districts where youth between the ages of 14 and 17 are given to opportunity to receive personal and professional development training and mentorship while working towards meeting the prerequisites for eventual acceptance into an EMT program, fire academy, or college medical program


This program places an emphasis on supporting low-income, high-risk youth, and can be offered through local school programs or though the partnership with local fire or EMS agencies interested in helping support such a program.”
